Hanover : City
An overview of Hanover
The capital city of the Federal State of Lower Saxony, Hanover is the third most northern of the 12 World Cup venues.

Hanover is also one of the few where you can get from the city centre to the stadium on foot ... if you don't mind a bit of a walk!

Hanover : Stadium
AWD Arena
Formerly the Lower Saxony Stadium, the ground has been completely refurbished and renamed in the last few years.  Due to FIFA's ban on stadium sponsors' names, however, it will be the World Cup Stadium Hanover for the duration of the 2006 finals tournament.
