For fans, by fans!
So who are we?
Well, we're a bunch of
football fans based in the UK. Several of us
speak German and have spent a lot of time in Germany - not least at
football games. So, the idea of The World Cup in Germany is to combine
both
interests and create a source of information for anyone going to the World Cup in
2006.
Your involvement
We don't pretend to know it all! We'll be
travelling around Germany again numerous times between now and the Finals and
you'll see the site grow as we add more information and update existing
pages. But if you know any of the 12 venues particularly well and would
like to contribute, we'd be delighted to hear from you. The more people
involved in this the merrier!
Legal stuff
We've been at great pains to make sure that
everything we've used on this site comes from the public domain or has been made
available for editorial use by the relevant press offices. If, however,
you have seen anything that you think is copyright material, please advise
us. If it turns out to be the case, we'll remove it. All information
provided on this site was correct to the best of our knowledge at the time it
was published. However, things change with time and human beings also make
mistakes, so we can accept no responsibility for any errors or
omissions.
If you have any feedback, if you've spotted
a mistake, found a link that doesn't work or would like to contribute to
the site, please send us an e-mail.
Grüße nach
Deutschland!
PS: That counts if you're reading this in
Germany, too. In addition to the input we've invited from the fan clubs of
the host teams in each city, we'd be delighted to hear from independent German
football fans. So if you've got things you'd like to tell us about
your city or stadium that you think would be of interest to visiting fans in
2006, schick uns doch
bitte eine Mail!
