Way out west in Kaiserslautern!

Location of Kaiserslautern in Germany
Kaiserslautern is the western most of all venues for the 2006 World Cup, in the south west of Germany, near to the French border.

The city is within easy driving distance of other venues such as Frankfurt and Stuttgart, not too far from the 3 venues in the Rhine/Ruhr region (Cologne, Gelsenkirchen and Dortmund), but a far way from the others.

No matter where you're travelling from, however, if you must travel by car, the German Autobahn network will serve you well.
