All sites fully inspected
Eurocampings provides full details of over 8,200 campsites, which are all inspected every year by a team of over 290 ACSI inspectors.

That means that all of the information is up to date, and as every ACSI inspected sticker is personally put up at each campsite by an ACSI inspector, they're a guaranteed sign that the site has been checked in the last 12 months.

We think it's a great databse.  Why not see for youself, by taking a look here now!

fanproject2006

One of the most ambitious camping ventures in Germany this summer is being planned by Ulrich Krämer.  A veteran fan of four World Cup tournaments, he is now returning the hospitality he enjoyed in other countries by organising fanproject2006

Three 'Tent Cities'
fanproject2006 is planning 3 huge campsites: One in Dortmund, one in Paaren im Glien (not far from Berlin) and one in Schwäbisch Hall / Ilshofen (90km from Stuttgart and 100 from Nuremberg).

500,000 visitor/nights
All in all, Ulrich Krämer and his team propose to provide overnight campsite accommodation totalling 500,000 visitor/nights between June 8th and July 10th.  Campers, says Krämer, can bring their own tents to fanproject2006 or hire these on site.

18 euros a night
Costs are set at €18 per night, with broadcasts of World Cup games on big screens promised for free.

More German campsites listed in English
Two more we've found so far are Alan Rogers Camping and Camping Cheque.  These are both UK-based sites entirely in English with searchable databases of campsites throughout Europe, including in Germany, broken down region by region.
