From Tegel Airport to the Olympic Stadium

There are two main ways of doing this journey:

Route 1

Take the X9 bus in the direction of Zoologischer Garten

Get out at Ernst Reuter Pltz underground (U-Bahn) station

Take the U2 underground in the direction of Ruhleben

Total journey time approx. 33 mins

Get out at Olympia Stadion

The station is on the edge of the stadium complex, about 100 yards from the ground itself.

Route 2

Take the X9 bus in the direction of Zoologischer Garten

Get out at Jakob Kaiser Platz underground (U-Bahn) station

Take the U7 underground in the direction of Rudow

Get out at Bismarckstrasse

Take the U2 underground in the direction of Ruhleben

Total journey time approx. 23 mins

Get out at Olympia Stadion

The station is on the edge of the stadium complex, about 100 yards from the ground itself.

Although the second route is 10 minutes quicker, it does rely on two very tight connections at Jakob Kaiser Platz and Bismarckstrasse.  Personally, I’d allow the extra 10 minutes, save the hassle of the extra change and go via the X9 and U2 (the first route shown above).
