Stuttgart is a German Wings hub		Low-cost hub Stuttgart Airport is the sixth most important airport in Germany with over 9 million passengers using the airport annually. It has also become a major hub for low-cost airlines such as German Wings and HLX. The airport is located just to the south-east of the city, on the A8 Autobahn and the B27 road.
To and from the airport Stuttgart Airport has a direct light railway (S-Bahn) link into Stuttgart, with trains on the S2 and S3 lines running every 10-20 minutes from early morning to late at night on the 27-minute run between the main station and the airport's Terminal 1. Connections If you're thinking of getting around Germany by air, then Stuttgart can offer you flights to 8 of the other 11 World Cup venues.  Air Berlin, for instance, fly to Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hanover, Leipzig, Munich and Nuremberg, while HLX fly to Berlin and the small domestic airline LGW ply the route to Dortmund.  Internationally, German Wings fly in from London Stansted, Air France and Lufthansa from Paris and British Airways and Lufthansa from London Heathrow.
Baden Airpark - A Rynair airfield		Ryanair into Baden-Baden Alternative low-cost air access to south-west Germany is provided by a former Canadian Air Force airfield near Baden-Baden, called variously Karlsruhe/Baden, Baden Airpark  or Baden Airport.  It's not all that close to Stuttgart (nearly two hours away by bus and train), but with Ryanair at least the flight is cheap.
The trip from Baden Airpark to Stuttgart involves a bus (line 205 or 104 fare, cost 2.50 or 3.50 euros) to Baden-Baden main train station, which take 20-30 minutes (timetable here - in German, so here are a few tips: 'ab' means 'departs', 'an' means 'arrives', 'Bahnhof' means 'station').  From the station, it's then a direct train to Stuttgart (takes 1 hour 15 mins and costs 22 euros).  German rail's journey planner will give you the precise times.
