The vast majority of German "Inns" (Gaststätte) all offer a good selection of hearty food to keep you going from one match to the next! Here are a few examples of what's on the menu at the Augustiner beer hall in Munich (it's right in the centre of the pedestrian zone and rather less touristy than the Hofbräuhaus - click on the image below for their website and on any of the photos to enlarge).

Augustiner Weisswürste

White sausage, a Munich speciality. Best with mustard, a huge pretzel and a beer!

Schweinsbraten mit Kruste, Kartoffelknödel

Roast pork with crackling and potato dumpling.

½ Schweinshaxe vom Grill mit Kartoffelknödel

Half a grilled knuckle of pork with potato dumpling.

Speck-Kraut-Salat

Wintersalat mit Scampispiess vom Grill, Räucherlachs und Reiberdatschi

Winter salad with grilled scampi on a skewer, smoked salmon and potato pancakes.

Riesenbraturst mit Tagesgemüse und Kartoffelpüree
