Hanover fan park

As part of the arrangements for this year's World Cup, all 12 venues will be organising an official 'fan park' in their city, where fans can gather, party and watch the games on giant screens.

At Waterlooplatz
The 'Fan Fest' in Hanover will be just to the north of the stadium, at Waterlooplatz. 

20,000 fans
The area
is being transformed into an enclosed park with room for 20,000 fans. Entrance will be free.

60 sq.m. screen
A stage and a large screen, sixty square metres in size, will be erected in front of the Waterloo column.

Model shows location in relation to station
 
In addition to live broadcasts of the games, there will be a varied programme of entertainment provided at other times.  Food and drink will also be available.

On foot or by underground
Waterlooplatz can be reached on foot from the city centre or by underground, getting out at the
station of the same name.
