Kaiserslautern fan park

As part of the arrangements for this year's World Cup, all 12 venues will be organising an official 'fan park' in their city, where fans can gather, party and watch the games on giant screens.

Big screen on Stiftsplatz
Stiftsplatz square will be used as the main 'public viewing' area in Kaiserslautern with several
stages and a giant screen.

Secondary sites
Smaller stages and screens will also be set up in other
locations around the inner-city area.

World Cup mile
The route from the station, along Eisenbahnstrasse
and Rummelstrasse leading to Stiftsplatz transformed into a 'World Cup Mile'.

Themed food
Numerous events will be staged before, during and after the games, with catering facilities
organised to reflect the theme of each event.

Wine village
As well as music, dance, comedy and interviews there will also be a 'Wine Village' in
Kaiserslautern, giving fans a chance to sample the local produce.

11am till midnight
The 'WM Meile' (World Cup Mile) will be up and and running from 11am to midnight, from 9th June
until 9th July.
