400 miles to the Berlin!

One important thing to remember, if your'e thinking about driving to Berlin: It's a heck of a long way from almost everywhere else in Germany!  Stuck for years like an island within East Germany, Berlin is still rather out on a limb from most major German cities.  So, if you're planning on driving there, take a good look at the journey times before setting off - other than from Leipzig, it won't be a quick trip!
